Exemptions to the 5-Year Workmanship Warranty
We handle all defects in our Orlando remodels within reason. What does that mean? Some instances won’t fall under our workmanship warranty, such as problems occurring from owner negligence, alterations, abuse, and acts of God. This warranty is also separate from the manufacturer’s warranties on various items and appliances, as we’re only responsible for our own work. We also can’t guarantee an exact match on replacement materials, although we’ll do our best to get as close as we can!

Equipment, Materials, and Appliances:
- Defective Products: Contractor will try to get replacements, but doesn’t guarantee the products themselves.
- Third-Party Products: Warranty does not cover products made by third-party vendors.
Maintenance:
- Owner Responsibility: Proper maintenance is key to preventing damage.
- Examples of Neglect: Damage due to improper drainage or landscaping near the foundation is not covered.
Remedies:
- Limited Liability: No compensation for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Timeframe for Claims: Notify the contractor within 60 days of noticing the issue.
- Physical Evidence: The problem must be observable and cause damage within the warranty period.
Non-Transferrability:
- Owner-Only Agreement: The warranty is valid only for the original owner. It does not transfer to new owners.
- Transfer Terminates Warranty: If the property is sold, the warranty is voided.
